MVM Dome
The location of the Superenduro GP of Hungary: the MVM Dome
The MVM Dome is one of Europe’s largest multi-purpose event venues, the largest handball hall on the continent, with a capacity of over 20,000 people, and up to 17,000 seats for the Superenduro.
The facility opened on 16 December 2021 and hosted its first major event, the 2022 European Men’s Handball Championship, the Women’s EHF Champions League Final Four and the Eurovision Hockey tournament in 2023.
The building has also hosted major performing arts events, including concerts by Enrique Iglesias, Michael Bublé, Plácido Domingo, Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard, Tom Jones, and, after last year’s Superenduro GP of Hungary, Depeche Mode and Cirque du Soleil.
Approach
By metro: line M3 from Újpest Centre and Kőbánya-Kispest terminus, to Népliget station
By tram: lines 1 and 1A from Kelenföld railway station and Bécsi út to Népliget station
By car: limited parking spaces available
By bus: domestic and international bus services arrive at Népliget bus station, from Stadion bus station the MVM Dome can be reached by tram 1
By train: from Kelenföld station take tram 1, from Nyugati station and Kőbánya-Kispest take metro M3, from Keleti station take metro M4 and M3.
You can enter the MVM Dome from Üllői út or from the parking lot.
Parking
We encourage everyone to use public transport. The MVM Dome can be reached by metro, tram, bus, main taxi and even Lime scooter. If you do arrive by car, you must purchase a parking ticket in advance. It is not possible to buy a parking ticket on the spot. Please follow the access route indicated on the parking tickets, as this is the only way to reach the car parks!
How to buy: add the parking ticket to your shopping cart, register a new account or log in to your existing profile, then click on the pay button. Fill in the necessary details and bring the ticket, paid via the OTP Simple Pay electronic interface, with you on the day of the event, either as a printout or on an electronic device.
Important information:
- You can always find the parking ticket you have purchased in the account registered in the MVM Dome app
- If you do not have a pre-purchased parking ticket, do not try to enter the parking lot at Fék utca, as you will not be allowed to enter without a parking ticket!
- All parking tickets are valid for one hour before the opening of the gates and can be used for one hour after the event and are valid for one entry only
- For wheelchair users with reduced mobility, we recommend parking spaces P1A and P1B
